Chrome extension privacy policy

What Jiwa Pause stores
When you first accept the privacy disclosure, Jiwa Pause stores your privacy-disclosure acceptance timestamp. When you explicitly press Save, Jiwa Pause stores your selected feeling, optional note, language, and timestamp.
Where it is stored
The information is stored in chrome.storage.local inside your Chrome profile. It is not automatically copied to a Jiwacare account or server.
What it does not collect
Jiwa Pause does not collect visited pages, page content, browsing history, tab information, authentication data, location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or payment data.
What it sends
Jiwa Pause does not send note or check-in text. When you deliberately choose Continue with Jiwa, Chrome opens a Jiwacare page with fixed campaign parameters that identify the extension and selected feeling, but not your note.
Retention and deletion
The extension keeps no more than your latest seven saved check-ins. You can delete one record or delete all local data from Settings. Uninstalling the extension removes its local extension storage according to Chrome behavior. Clearing Chrome or browser profile data that removes extension storage also removes these local records.
Permissions
The sidePanel permission displays Jiwa Pause beside your current tab. The storage permission saves only the preferences and check-ins that you explicitly choose to store.
Human access and sharing
Jiwacare staff cannot read notes that remain in your browser. We do not sell or share extension data with advertisers or data brokers.
Security boundary
Extension data is local to your Chrome profile. Jiwa Pause does not claim that this browser-managed storage is separately encrypted from your device or Chrome profile.

Jiwa Pause is not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, or emergency support. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services or Befrienders Malaysia.
