The Jiwacare privacy page

Privacy, in plain language

This page explains what gets kept about you, for how long, what never happens to it, and how to ask for an export or deletion. Short sentences on purpose — so you actually finish reading.

What we keep

When you use Jiwa signed in, the system keeps: your account name and email; your conversations with Jiwa; the mood logs you write; and the memory fields you fill in yourself — your preferred name, pronouns, the season of life you're moving through, who matters to you, what helps, and what doesn't.

How long we keep it

On the Free plan, memory and conversation history quietly clear after roughly 7 days without activity. On Pro, everything stays while your subscription is active — come back after a year and Jiwa still knows the context.

You can still clear memory fields any time, right inside the app; conversations just follow your plan's retention window, and anything else goes when you email us.

What does NOT happen

Your conversations are not published, not sold, and not recycled into marketing content. There is no public feed in Jiwa — no posts, no leaderboard, no “trending stories”.

This isn't social media. It's a room between you and Jiwa.

Not a medical service

Jiwa is not therapy, not diagnosis, and not crisis care. It cannot replace a doctor or a counsellor, and it does not assess anyone's condition.

If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please reach a trained human right away. In Malaysia, Befrienders are reachable at 03-7627-2929.

Data requests

Want an export of everything stored under your account, or want it all deleted? Email us at hello@jiwamoodcare.appand say which you'd like — export or deletion of anything tied to that account.

Changes to this policy

If how Jiwa handles data ever changes, a new version of this policy will be published on this same page with the date of the update. The latest version always lives here.
